The meeting began with silence.

The treasurer’s report was not read, but will be forwarded to members.

The Ministry and Counsel minutes were heard. Friends discussed Quakerquest. Ministry and Counsel will investigate further. The report was accepted.

The Peace and Social Concerns report was heard. Friends discussed whether to put the NRCAT banner against torture up again in November. Friends agreed to hang the banner from mid-October to early November. Friends also discussed visiting their representatives, making our case against torture, and asking them to take specific action against it. Friends agreed to do this.

The housing committee report was heard. There will be a cleanup day next weekend. The report was accepted.
