The Possibility Alliance is hosting its third annual Harvest Festival and Open House from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the farmstead near La Plata, Mo.

The festival will include demonstrations of cider-pressing, earth-oven bread-baking candlemaking, garden tours and live music. Lots of hands-on opportunities exist, and a lot of fun is promised. It’s free.

The Possibility Alliance farmstead is roughly three miles north of La Plata, Mo., on U.S. 63 and then two miles east on County Road E. Call 660-332-4094 for more information, or ask around Penn Valley Meetinghouse.
